Pa. Coast Guardsman Identified, Feared Dead

Six Coast Guard cutters, three Navy ships and multiple helicopters searched the ocean off Southern California. Rescuers had found several pieces of debris from both aircraft but there was no sign of the victims. No bodies have been found in the debris field, and the mission is still considered search and rescue, not search and recovery, Coast Guard Petty Officer 2nd Class Jetta Disco said Saturday morning.

Collingdale police are investigating an auto accident in which a female driver crashed into three homes and overturned her vehicle. According to investigators, an officer traveling on Springfield Road witnessed a vehicle speeding in the opposite direction. When the officer turned around to stop the vehicle for speeding, the car had already crashed into three homes and come to a rest overturned on the 1000 block.

Bandit Sought In Norristown Bank Robbery
