Bandit Sought In Norristown Bank Robbery
NORRISTOWN, Pa. (CBS 3) ―
The FBI is asking for the public's assistance in locating a bandit who robbed a bank in Norristown Friday morning.
The incident happened at about 11:10 a.m. at the Bank of America branch located in the 1000 block of Sandy Hill Road.
According to investigators, the suspect entered the bank, displayed a handgun to a teller and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the scene on foot.
The subject is described as a black male, early to mid 30's, 5'9" tall, thin build, with a dark complexion and a mustache. He was wearing a zippered black hooded sweatshirt, dark baseball cap, black gloves, blue jeans, and dark colored sneakers. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
