Small Fire Breaks Out In Delaware Co. School

UPPER DARBY (CBS 3) ― Students in Delaware County had an early recess due to an electrical fire Monday.

Stonehurst Elementary School in Upper Darby was briefly evacuated due to an electrical fire just after 9:30 a.m.

Officials believe the small fire was sparked in an air conditioning unit.

No injuries were reported. The flames were quickly brought under control and students were headed back to class.
