A teenage girl is in critical condition after being stabbed multiple times in South Philadelphia early Monday morning.

Police said a 16-year-old girl was found unconscious on the front porch of a home in the 1900 block of S. Croskey Street just before 3 a.m.

The wounded teen was rushed to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in critical condition.

No arrests have been made and further details were not immediately available.

The incident remains under investigation.
