Man Shot Near Delaware Train Station
CLAYMONT, Del. (AP) ―
Delaware State Police say a 21-year-old man was shot in the parking lot of the Claymont train station.
The shooting occurred around 9:30 p.m. Monday after the man and his friends were approached in the parking lot by a man with a gun.
Police believe the motive for the shooting was robbery.
The injured man was taken in a private vehicle to Crozier-Chester Hospital in Pennsylvania. Police say his injuries are not considered life-threatening, but he is expected to have surgery Tuesday.
