A man has died after being shot on a South Philadelphia basketball court.

Police said an 18-year-old male was shot in the neck near 25th and Jackson Streets in Point Breeze just after 7:30 p.m.

The unidentified man ran across the street to home on Bailey Terrace where he collapsed. Rescue crews rushed the victim to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he was pronounced dead just before 8 p.m.

Further details were not immediately available. No arrests have been made.

The incident remains under investigation.
