Mom In Scandalous Sleepover Speaks Out
LOWER MAKEFIELD, Pa. (CBS 3) ―
Two Bucks County moms charged after a sleepover involving six teenage boys took an alleged illegal sexual turn went before a judge Tuesday.
Angela Honeycutt, 38, and Lynne Long, 45, are facing numerous charges after a series of alleged incidents on April 14.
Authorities said teens, ages 14 to 16, were attending a sleepover at Long's Lower Makefield home when Honeycutt, a mother of two young children, allegedly had sex with a 14-year-old and performed sex acts with a 15-year-old. Long allegedly watched, listened and instructed the teens not to say anything.
In addition to the alleged sexual assault, detectives said Honeycutt exposed her breasts to the teens; open-mouth kissed some of the minors, entered a shower with a juvenile and engaged conversation of a sexual nature.
"What is so particularly outrageous about this is the violation of trust," said Lower Makefield Twp. Police Chief Ken Coluzzi.
Authorities learned of the alleged sexual sleepover when one of the boys involved told his parents, who then went police.
Honeycutt is facing charges of statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor and other related charges. Long is facing charges of endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors.
Honeycutt entered a not guilty plea at the
hearing. Long has already waived her right to a preliminary hearing.
Honeycutt didn't speak much during the hearing, but was
taking a lot of notes and had time to talk to CBS 3's Robin Rieger as she left
the courthouse.
"Everyone needs to wait until the end before they make or
pass judgment," said Honeycutt.
Three teens testified at the hearing about Honeycutt
exposing her breasts and asking if they wanted to take a shower with her.
Defense Attorney, Neils Erickson, believes the teens have
inconsistencies in their stories.
"Door opened or door closed? Who was kissing who? It seemed
the stories at best were contrived when they sat down and tried to get their
stories straight," said Erickson.
A 15-year-old said Honeycutt had sex with him in the shower
and a 14-year-old said he had sexual contact with Honeycutt in the shower after
his friend.
The teens discomfort was evident as they testified.
"I am disappointed that they had to testify today and they
had to go through this hearing, but hopefully we can get this behind them as
soon as possible," said Mark Walz, Assistant

Honeycutt has an arraignment schedule for August 25th
in Doylestown; it will be her next scheduled appearance unless a plea deal is
reached.
