Port Richmond Shooting Leaves 2 Critically Injured

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― Two people were critically wounded following a double shooting inside a Port Richmond home early Thursday morning.

Police responded to reports of a shooting on the 3400 block of Joyce Street at about 2 a.m.

Inside the residence, officers discovered a 21-year-old female and a 20-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Both victims were rushed to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.

The motive for the shooting is under investigation, but police are reportedly searching for a known doer in connection with the incident.
