N.J. Woman Charged In Husband's Hit-Run Death

WINSLOW, N.J. (CBS 3) ― Police in Camden County, New Jersey have charged a woman with the hit and run death of her husband.

According to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office, Patricia Herndandez, 34, of Sicklerville, on the way to pick up her husband, Pedro Hernandez, 32, from his job at A.C. Moore at about 2 a.m. July 26, when she allegedly ran him over with her car.

Authorities say Patricia initially stopped her vehicle and got out of the car, but then drove away and did not report the crash. His lifeless body was found near the railroad tracks on N. Grove Street in Winslow.

Police say Patricia was charged in connection to the crash late Sunday night. She is being held in lieu of $150,000 bail.

Authorities say it is an ongoing investigation and urge anyone with information to contact police.
