Jane Morgan, 84, was found brutally murdered in her Upper Darby apartment complex.

Police are searching for a person of interest in the disturbing murder of an elderly woman in a Delaware County apartment complex.
Jane Morgan, 84, was discovered in her bed at the Long Lane Apartments in Upper Darby the afternoon of September 9. Police said she had been beaten, sexually assaulted and strangled.
Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood said the investigation has turned to a man who lives in Morgan's apartment building. Authorities are awaiting DNA test results to determine whether or not there is a link to the brutal crime.
A $5,000 reward was offered for any information leading to an arrest an conviction. The incident remains under investigation.
