Trenton Police are searching for a group of suspects who bound a family during a home invasion last week.
Police said a 54-year-old man was attacked by three armed suspects as he returned to his home on the 400 block of South Cook Avenue just before 11:30 p.m. on November 5.
The male victim was forced into the garage, where he was bound with duct tape. Police said the suspects brought the man inside the residence, demanding money. While ransacking the home, the suspects found the victim's 52-year-old wife and five-year-old granddaughter upstairs and bound their hands, feet and eyes with tape, police said.
The suspects eventually fled the scene and the 52-year-old victim was able to free herself and contact police.
At some point during the incident, police said the 54-year-old male was struck in the back of the head with what is believed to have been a handgun. He and his wife were treated and released at Saint Francis Medical Center. The young girl was uninjured in the incident.
No arrests have been made. Police have released surveillance photos of the suspects' vehicle. If you have any information, please contact Trenton Police at 609-989-3663.
