Philadelphia Teen Struck By Hit And Run Driver

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― A 13-year-old boy was struck by a hit and run driver in the West Philadelphia Thursday morning.

Police say the driver struck the teenager standing in the intersection of 52nd and Arch Streets at about 10 a.m.

The boy was taken by ambulance to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia with leg injuries, but he is expected to be OK.

The driver of the grey Cutlass fled the scene.

Anyone with information with on the accident is urged to contact Philadelphia police.
