Authorities have issued a warning to residents in a Gloucester County neighborhood due to a possible hazmat situation.

Officials said a soap factory on Democrat Road in East Greenwich Township may have released a toxic cloud after mixing undisclosed chemicals together just after 11 a.m. Friday.

As a precaution, authorities are asking residents in the area surrounding the factory to remain indoors. Hazmat CBRN units have been called to the scene.

No injuries have been reported.
