Police are hoping new information will help catch a thief who ran off with an expensive ring in the King of Prussia Mall over the weekend.
Authorities said the suspect entered Milanj Jewelers and asked to see a 7.78 carat diamond ring on November 30 at about 6 p.m.
When handed the ring by a clerk, the suspect fled, crashing into the store's front door and breaking the lock. Witnesses compared the noise to a gunshot.
The suspect is described as being 6 feet tall with a thin build and was last seen wearing a hat and sunglasses.
The ring is said to have a yellow diamond center with two triangle shaped natural white diamonds on either side. Officials said the ring is worth approximately $300,000.
Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage in hopes of identifying the suspect. If you have any information, contact Upper Merion Police.
