Ex-Math Teacher Admits To Distributing Child Porn

TOMS RIVER, N.J. (AP) ―

A former high school math teacher in Monmouth County has admitted taking and distributing pornographic photos of a toddler.

Cecelia Schneider pleaded guilty to distributing child pornography and endangering the welfare of a child. The 54-year-old could get up to 20 years in prison, though a shorter term is likely.

Court documents said she performed or simulated sex acts with a 2-year-old boy in 2002, when the pictures were taken.

Schneider resigned as a Monmouth Regional High School math teacher after she was arrested in 2004. She had taught at the school for 25 years.
