Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed an unconscious gambler in a Delaware County casino Thursday.
A 60-year-old man was collecting his slot machine winnings at Harrah's in Chester when police said he became woozy and passed out. A man behind him at first seemed like he was going to help, but his motives were much more sinister.
"He identified the situation, went to the cash register, told the cashier that someone had fallen, but upon returning to the NRT, took the money in the cash return" said Corporal Mark Dooling of the Pennsylvania State Police.
The victim, who was visiting from the Washington D.C. area, was taken to an area hospital where it was determined his blood pressure medication caused the blackout. He said over $230 was stolen in the incident.
Investigators said surveillance video caught the entire incident on tape. Police said are searching 'person of interest' to question in connection with the robbery.
