Philadelphia Referee Shot During Basketball Game

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― A referee is recovering after being shot multiple times during basketball game in the Strawberry Mansion section of Philadelphia.

Police say the 40-year-old victim was refereeing a recreation league game at 33rd and Diamond Streets when he was shot four times.

First responding officers transported him to Temple University Hospital where he was listed in good condition.

Police say they are interviewing witnesses and at this time have not made an arrest.
