Suspects Tracked After Montgomery Co. Bank Robbery

WYNNEWOOD, Pa. (CBS 3) ― Philadelphia Police took two suspects in custody following a bank robbery in Montgomery County Wednesday morning.

Authorities said two armed suspects robbed a Bank of America in the 200 block of E. Lancaster Avenue in Wynnewood at about 10 a.m.

A tracking device was placed into a bag, along with an undisclosed amount of cash. A short time later, officers from the 19th Police District tracked down the suspects and took them into custody.

The cash and a firearm were recovered from the scene. The suspects are in the custody of the Lower Merion Police Department.

FBI officials are trying to determine if the suspects are responsible for any additional crimes.
