Puppy Tossed From Overpass On A.C. Expressway
ATLANTIC CITY (CBS 3) ―
The chief of the New Jersey SPCA is personally offering a reward for information leading the arrest and conviction of the person who allegedly threw a puppy from an overpass on the Atlantic City Expressway.
A Boston Terrier puppy, only six months old, was reportedly tossed from the overpass of July 24, 2008 at about 11 p.m. The unmicrochipped male puppy was found in a plastic bag on the road side.
Carl Galioto, chief with the N.J. SPCA is offering $1,000 of his own money for information leading to conviction of this crime. According to New Jersey Aid for Animals' Web site, the organization is adding $250 to the reward fund.
