Suspect Sought In Alleged Haddonfield Abduction

HADDONFIELD, N.J. (CBS 3) ― Police are investigating an alleged abduction attempt in Haddonfield, New Jersey Wednesday.

A 50-year-old woman told police a suspect posing as a deliveryman dragged her into a van after asking for directions in the 100 block of Park Place at about 10:30 a.m.

Following a brief struggle, the woman was able to break free from the van and call for help.

The victim was treated for minor injuries at an area hospital.

The suspect is said to be male with short hair and a thin beard. He is approximately 5'6" tall with a medium build and was wearing a dark grey sweatshirt, dark pants and yellow boots.

He was driving a white van with dark black windows and New Jersey tags.
