Philadelphia Police are searching for several suspects in connection to a triple shooting Monday evening.

The shooting happened at about 6:00 p.m. in the 1400 block of Ithan Street in West Philadelphia.

According to police, one person was shot twice in the chest and was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. The second victim was shot once in the arm and in the leg and was also taken to HUP.

The third person was taken to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for unknown injuries.

The conditions of all three victims was not immediately available.

Investigators said they are currently searching for three males who fled the scene after the shooting.

The shooting remains under police investigation.
