Water Main Break Floods Roxborough Homes
PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ―
Several homes in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia were flooded
and had to be evacuated after a 30-inch main broke causing thousands of
gallons of water to pour into the street.
The main broke on the 600 block of Summit Avenue early Saturday morning.
The water main was shut off around 7:30 a.m.
There is no word on the extent of damage caused to the homes.
