CBS3.com Users React To VP Debate

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― We asked CBS3.com users to share their reactions to the VP debate, here are some of the responses:

Your Name : Guy Yearwood Jr.
Your Hometown : St. John's, Antigua
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : WOW! It was great! Bidden make it quite clear that anyone that votes for the republican candidates must be either completely out of their minds, or part of some cult that works through the republican party. Obama, and more so Bidden have clearly proven to be better able to lead this country, regardless to how you feel on their stance of the issues. McCain & Palin are just gimmicks. Bidden on a least two occasions pointed out that Palin couldn't respond to the issues in a DEBATE. This is not time for her to campaign and speak on any issue she pleases, it's a debate. McCain did the same thing against Obama. Palin is a 1 trick pony. She said the same things tonight she says everytime someone interviews her, she gave one word answers, which I feel should have been followed up because it shows that she clearly doesn't know what she was doing. Palin can't decide whether she has experience or not. One minute she's saying her lack of experience is her weakness, next thing she's bringing up her experience as governor. Which one is it? Clearly McCain has proven his lack of good decision making in his choice of Palin for vice president, and people dare make him president of the United States? Bidden said it best, "A Maverick, he is not!"

Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : I thought Sarah Palin did an excellent job. She finally had the opportunity to demonstrate her intellegence and wisdom. It was good to see her do well and maybe now the Obama biased networks and angry women's groups will get off her back and focus instead on what's best for our country no matter the outcome of the election. Joe Biden also demonstrated his warmth and knowledge. I enjoyed watching both of them.

Your Name : Deanna
Your Hometown : Oshksoh Wi
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : I throught the way that Sarah Palen kept smirking while Joe Biden was giving his answers was very inappropriate and was unfortunealy reflects poorly on the ability of women. I was very disappointed. Prior to the debate I was rooting for Sarah but she just confirmed by voting choice in the upcoming election.

Your Name : Caryl Hall

Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Gov. Palin has no business running for this office. She clearly does not know much outside of Alaska and kept trying to sell her experience rather than answering the questions with substance. Regarding Sen. Biden, I was very impressed with his knowledge, experience, judgement and passion. This debate clearly helped me with my decision.

Your Name : Bob
Your Hometown : Cleveland
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Let me start by saying that I have tremendous respect for both candidates. However, I still can not understand why this is a difficult decision. Both men are qualified but only one will actually bring the change that both promise. I watched the debate tonight and listened to feedback following. I personally feel that Biden was the only candidate that actually spoke about the issues and was capable of answering all the questions based not on general options or rhetoric. I agree that she did significantly better than during the previous interviews, however, she was not able to give one specific plan or documentation to legitimize her comments. Half the time she kept going off topic and repeating the same comments that seem to be rehearsed. Yes, she is personable but that does not in any way qualify her for the position at hand. Frankly when asked about a hypothetical situation in which something would happen to McCain, it was scary to think that a woman as unqualified and unfamiliar with the issues could be in such a powerful position. (Looking at her past as governor it is clear that she has made several errors including a court case that is yet to be settled).

Your Name : Debbie
Your Hometown : Drexel Hill
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Gee, isn't she cute? She would have been a great Vice President to George W. Bush. She answers questions just like he does, with a totally unrelated response. I know a lot of women who could hold their own in a debate after weeks of studying but that doesn't mean they're ready to be Vice President and neither is she.

Your Name : Min
Your Hometown : Philadelphia
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Okay the debate was Biden all the way!! He didn't do the dance as Palin did around all questions. Secondly, do I want a "soccer mom" who has no clue what her handing her 4-5 month old baby to a approx 8 yr on a stage to haul around in front of millions of americans watching , running the country I live in. I was on the edge of my seat when that child was carrying the baby and was trying to juggle it around as she exited the stage with no adult right around her even watching her actions. This is not someone I want 2nd in command in what happens to my family.

Your Name : Janice Halscheid
Your Hometown : Woolwich Twp, NJ
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : I think Gov Palin Won the debate tonight. She proved she is capable of being Vice president and showed Americans she is not afraid to take a stand, like with the gay marriages she stated she is against it and I give her alot credit for her honesty. She did not beat around the bush about the war either. She knew what she was talking about and it only gave her more credibility. Also, she made you feel like you knew her on a personal level.

Your Name : Chuck
Your Hometown : Philadelphia
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : OK, so she's a good debater (she learned well from all the private tutoring from specialized teams for several weeks being coached on her every move while she was shielded from the American public). She also pushed the message that she's 'a good ole girl' for the 'common folk'. Not sure that's going to be worth much when dealing with world leaders. Palin made a good showing for anyone in her inexperienced position. The fact remains that she doesn't have the experience to be 'a heartbeat' away from the Presidency'. Biden knows the facts, is experienced in creating bi-partisan agreements & has the relationships and mediation skills to guide change policies thru Congress. Obama & Biden are the powerhouse to bring our country back together, without question.

Your Name : kathy

Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : BIDEN: Warned that Republican presidential candidate John McCain's $5,000 tax credit to help families buy health coverage "will go straight to the insurance company." THE FACTS: Of course it would, because it's meant to pay for insurance. That's like saying money for a car loan will go straight to the car dealer.

Your Name : Jim
Your Hometown : Plymouth Meeting
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : All I can say is, in a country boasting nearly 300,000,000 citizens, these are the best candidates our parties can find? We're all in serious trouble!

Your Name : Kelly
Your Hometown : Schwenksville
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Biden does what he does best, flip-flopped on the issues and wasted time talking about what Bush has done, not what Obama will do...because there is no substance to Obama's platform. Palin held her own and proved she would be the best VP.

Your Name : Nancy Katof
Your Hometown : Montgomery Township, PA
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Clearly, Biden is the candidate of choice. He answered the questions directly and backed by facts. Palin was obviously prepped on her material and she must have done alot of memorization. Her winking and excessive inappropriate smiling shows insincerity. She spoke more then once about "soccer moms" and even gave a "shout out". Palin appears to be unsophisticated with a corny, redneck quality. She is clearly not presidential material. I looked up the word maverick. From Wikipedia, maverick is an unbranded range animal, especially a motherless calf; it can also mean a person who acts independent of thought; a lone dissenter; a non-conformist or rebel. Yes, "animal" and "without a thought" is very fitting for the Republican team.

Your Name : Kathy
Your Hometown : Chester County
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : BIDEN: Complained about "economic policies of the last eight years" that led to "excessive deregulation." THE FACTS: Biden voted for 1999 deregulation that liberal groups are blaming for part of the financial crisis today. The law allowed Wall Street investment banks to create the kind of mortgage-related securities at the core of the problem now. The law was widely backed by Republicans as well as by Democratic President Clinton, who argues it has stopped the crisis today from being worse.

Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Gosh, Bless her heart: Why can't that gal just answer a question head on. If I was undecided before I know now that I am going over to the Obama camp. All mothers are not sitting in the bleachers of thier kids hockey games chatting about recipes. Some of us are educated, career building, voting indiviuals who happen to be interested in some very real issues and need a President who can handle the pressure. She can not seem to give one straight forward answer to questions asked of her. I have seen her in several interviews and then again tonight on the debate. Golly, she should have used the smarts God gave her and try to appeal to those of us that listen.

Your Name : Lindsay H

Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Palin all the way! We need the new blood - Biden's another old fogey.

Your Name : Philomena Carroll
Your Hometown : Newtown, PA
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Sarah Palin did not answer the questions. She avoided the questions by giving campaign pronunciations on other issues instead of directly answering the moderators questions. This repeated avoidence technique gave me a lack of confidence in her ability to hold her own on the domestic political or world stage.

Your Name : Juan de la Cruz
Your Hometown : Horsham, PA
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : It's a debate between a teacher (Biden) and a student (Palin) with the student trying very hard to annoy her teacher :)

Your Name : Walt
Your Hometown : Blackwood
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Sarah Pailn was competent, pleasant and colected, as a VP candidate should be. Biden did not answer many questions, and repeated himself often.

Your Name : John
Your Hometown : Plymouth Meeting
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : I live here in the Delaware Valley, and think Joe Biden was nothing but Rhetoric. No, I didn't appreciate Palin's use of the Reaganesque phrase, "There you go again", but, especially with his quitting in Iraq, he would change the image of America into something worse than we experience following Vietnam or the Iran hostage crisis. It would get worse than the days of Carter. I'm looking to hear whose turn they are talking about when they say "It's our turn now"! Biden did nothing for the middle class in all his years in office. Now, he's going to help us! Bull Dinky! Joe Biden reminded me of the evil lord Xeno

Your Name : bh
Your Hometown : PENNSYLVANIA
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Biden was right on, Palin was way off. I will have to go with the VP candidate who impressed me with actually answering the questions that were presented. The last thing we need is Palin help run our country, and heaven forbid should she have to take over the Presidency. As a middle class, single working single mother, I present you with this question, do you really want her running our country?, I THINK NOT!! My vote is the Obama/Biden ticket!!

Your Name : Jazz
Your Hometown : Philadelphia
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : I couldn?t agree w/ you more Miriam (Cherry Hill, NJ). When are people going to realize what?s going on here in this country is not a joke?!! It takes more than having a quick wit and being able to see Alaska from your home to run this country. I don?t know about some of you but I?m not looking for someone to make me laugh, I?m looking for someone to help get us out of the economic crisis we are in. Maybe if Palin were running for VP of the neighborhood high school she?d have my vote, but not to run my country.

Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : GO PALIN...NO-OBAMA!!!

Your Name : connie

Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Biden was almost Presidential and clearly more informed. Palin did a good job of not making errors, but my vote will be for Biden

Your Name : Terry
Your Hometown : Parkside, PA
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : I was very impressed with how well Gov. Palin did in the debate. She proved that she could stand with the big guys and defend the position of her ticket.

Your Name : B Butler
Your Hometown : Philadelphia
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : of course the poll would say he won this is a democratic state. As an african american I was 100% for Sen. Clinton and now I have been disappointed so often by the democrats I have changed to the republican party.

Your Name : Roxellen (Rocky) Auletto
Your Hometown : Ocean City, NJ
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Gov Palin was ON! Biden was taken by surprise. His smug facial expressions seemed to disappear when he realized he was in for a challenging debate. She can hold her own, is sincere and everything women have always been but never given the credit or recognition they deserve! WHOA to Palin!!!!

Your Name : Mary Ellen
Your Hometown : West Chester PA
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Palin didn't answer the questions or explain any plans. She held herself out as anti gay rights and pro war. That's a scary proposition. Biden on the other hand has seen the results of ill informed policies and is a better chance for thoughtful government.

Your Name : joe

Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : i want sarah as govenor of nj the tax capitol of the country. at least she will cut taxes & stop the giveaways.

Your Name : Deb
Your Hometown : Hellertown, PA
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Well gosh darn it! Didn't Sarah do just a dandy job. The people that actually believe that are the same ones that voted for Bush TWICE!!!! After all, he was the kind of guy they could sit down and share a beer with. We've had enough of "folksy" in the White House. How about trying "intelligence"? You can't argue that she was well rehearsed. Now if she could just once give a straight answer. I could have voted for McCain, but there's no way I could vote for Palin.

Your Name : Karen
Your Hometown : Malvern
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Joe Biden won. She didn't have any serious mistakes but, she did spend days in the city of Brotherly Love being prepped. I think I heard someone say it's like cramming for a test....most intelligent people can cram, pass the test but, how much do you really remember after that test. I'd love to see a woman become president but, she's not the woman that I want to be a heartbeat away from the presidency if something happened to McCain. And, I've been most concerned about the VP for both candidates...Obama as the first Black president is in danger too. My concern has always been...who's the VP who might have to step up to the plate.

Your Name : Gordon Okuley
Your Hometown : kempton
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Palin HIT A HOMERUN!!! How refreshing to hear honest straight forward statements instead of the same old tired lines. How about Biden's comment "I will not change after 35 years, BUT HE is the candidate of CHANGE?! Does anybody really hear what these people THINK & SAY!!!

Your Name : Beverly Paulus
Your Hometown : Easton, PA
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Sarah Palin gets my vote. Honesty from a straight American citizen who can speak to the American people eye to eye. John McCain and Sarah Palin gets my vote.

Your Name : maria
Your Hometown : warrington
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : it seemed that Palin had certain information/alking points if you will and stuck with them even though they did not have anything to do with the question she was suposed to be answering. Biden's experience was very evident. He topped her,

Your Name : R. Horn
Your Hometown : Glenside, PA
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : I was particularly unimpressed by Palin's statements about all the ambitions of the McCain-Palin Administration. She talked about valuing education and giving extra credit to her brother's class for watching the debate. She talked about the commitment to education and the need for funding. How are we funding everything when we are paying for a war, unemployment is increasing and the tax base is down? How are we funding tax cuts to corporations and paying for all the things she promised? She said nothing will be cut even after the economic turmoil. She dodged all the questions she could not answer. Nothing that she says makes any sense to me.

Your Name : Lora
Your Hometown : Medford, NJ
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : I think Sarah Palin won hands down. She was knowledgeable, confident and on track with her answers. Joe Biden has been in government for 35 years. If he hasn't helped America by now (which he has NOT done anything noteable to help the future of America) why should we think he will help America now? He is a career politician set in his ways. He couldn't get elected as President when he ran for that position, he should hang up his hat! There is NO change with Joe Biden. Short of the white teeth that glistened and his nervous smile when Sarah Palin caught Joe Biden during his misguided answers to the debate questions, I wasn't impressed with Joe Biden!

Your Name : Citizen
Your Hometown : USA
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : No contest. Biden wins. Palin delivered Pablum soundbites, coached to a survival level with mostly fatuous non sequitir responses. That gleam in her eye? Could be intolerance. Is probably just a little too much golly-gosh in her 'tude. The worst reflection of self-identity politics in a century.

Your Name : Maryann
Your Hometown : Philadelphia
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Governor Palin was speaking straight to the people. No political coverup.

Your Name : Angelia Feemster
Your Hometown : Southampton
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : I think Palin is a good person but as a mother of 4 my self she is out of her league!

Your Name : Beth Timberman
Your Hometown : Woodstown
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : I think that Joe Biden won the debate because he was far more knowledgeable of the questions that Gwen asked of them and he did not wander off subject like Sarah Palin did.

Your Name : Colleen Bonmer
Your Hometown : Gilbertsville, PA
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : What a historical debate! I think that halfway thru the debate, Biden realized he had a true opponent to contend with as his facial expressions seemed to tense up between smiles. Also, I truly thought they both respected each other from the outset. Sometimes when there is too much punching, you miss the real issues. Tonight's debate proved one thing in common with both - change is needed. I did not know who I was going to vote for, but tonight, swayed me to the McCain/Palin ticket.

Your Name : Michael Vincovitch
Your Hometown : Catasauqua, PA
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Although both candidates were knowledgable and informed on the issues, Senator Biden won the debate. He won due to the fact that he answered the moderator's questions more directly and because his positions on the war in Iraq, the economy and U.S. foreign policy are the right positions.

Your Name : Doris Eisenhauer
Your Hometown : Coplay, PA 18037
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Gov. Palin did more than hold her own against Sen. Biden. She shut him down!

Your Name : Melissa
Your Hometown : Reading, PA
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Palin didn't answer the questions and was evasive when she did. Her "I'm one of you" tactics are not convincing. Biden was clear and knowledgeable on the issues.

Your Name : Elizabeth Bates
Your Hometown : Philadelphia
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Joe Biden won.

Your Name : Christin Eichert
Your Hometown : Jenkintown
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Palin did everything she needed to. She held her own. She connected with me as a real person. I feel like she is going to Washington to fight for me. She has convinced me she is not the DC norm, she is different... she is honest.

Your Name : Lauren
Your Hometown : Logan Twp, New Jersey
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : They both did equally well defending their policies and points of view, however, I feel that Biden preferred to look back at what Bush did while Palin tended to look forward to the future and I appreciated that about her.

Your Name : Joe
Your Hometown : Glenolden
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : An interesting evening, I think that Biden held back in order to avoid the patronizing label. And Palin pretty much just spoke her memorized talking points. If their was another one, it would probably be a lot more interesting.

Your Name : William Kraft
Your Hometown : Nazareth
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Palin Won! Biden is an outdated message.

Your Name : Kathi Cochran
Your Hometown : Warminster
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Most shocking comment from the debate was Senator Biden saying "I am better off than almost all Americans now, I get a good salary from the Senate"

Your Name : cc
Your Hometown : malvern, pa
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Palin seems to think that all middle-class Americans are unable to comprehend or utilize the formal English language. And can I just ask; On what planet was this the appropriate forum to do a "Shout-out for extra credit"? I've only ever seen that done on Wheel of Fortune. Extremely dissapointing.

Your Name : connie
Your Hometown : bucks county, pa
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Biden was almost Presidential and clearly more informed. Palin did a good job of not making errors, but my vote will be for Biden

Your Name : Misty Hoffman
Your Hometown : Phoenixville, PA
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : I think Palin did better, but she didn't answer the questions. I didn't feel she gave any specifics on anything. She never answered the question "what would you do if you were President". She didn't embarrass herself though.

Your Name : Arnie J Vargas
Your Hometown : Cape May, NJ
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : While both candidates did well in terms of coming across as human and real, only Joe Biden answered all the questions. Sarah Palin avoided the answers many times.

Your Name : Heather Graves
Your Hometown : Schnecksville
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : I never watched the debates before for the presidential ticket until this year. I am one of those Clinton supporters. I was literaly on the fence regarding the candidates until I started watching the debates. I reviewed previous speechs and come to realize who I prefer to vote for. I was leaning toward Obama until he picked his running mate and the fact that I saw that in his first debate he is not ready to lead this country. Also, another deciding factor for me was that he could not stop campaining for president to help handle what the country is worried about in regards to the financial crisis. That tells me he does not care for the people only himself. McCain was smart in choosing his running mate be choosing Palin someone who was not on any radars or pushing for the nomination. That was a good polical move. He showed that he cares for our nation by taking time to stop his campaining to deal with the financial crisis. I think Obama realized his mistake in not stopping his campaigning for the financial crisis. As for the vice presidential debate I think Palin held own and even kicked a little butt. I like her for who she is and she isn't hiding it. Therefore I am voting republican this year. I am still a Clinton supporter at heart. Palin does come in a close second.

Your Name : Carole Madsen
Your Hometown : West Chester, PA 19380
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Governor Palin had it all put together with a significant value of superior information for us, the taxpayers, than what Senator Bidon had all those years to learn better! Therefore, Gov. Palin won it by a 98 % Margin!!!!

Your Name : Carol Roper
Your Hometown : West Chester, PA
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : While Sarah Palin didn't stumble as she did with Couric, she gave no substantive responses, and in several cases, simply ignored the question and spouted general PR lines. On the other hand, Joe Biden consistently answered the questions, and gave details which covered both the history of the question as well as the intent and plan of the Democratic ticket. Further, I was very disappointed in Palin's continued disingenuous lies about the tax plans of both tickets, claiming that McCain will lower taxes on the middle class, which he will not, and that Obama will raise them, when Obama's plan clearly states that taxes will be reduced for 95% of Americans in his presidency. Finally, and perhaps the biggest difference was in the area of the Middle East. Palin did not show much understanding of the situations, despite knowing the names of a few leaders, while Biden again demonstrated his superior understanding as well as solid reasoning on the direction that the Obama ticket would take. Hands down, a win for Joe Biden.

Your Name : Luke
Your Hometown : Philadelphia
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : By not losing, Palin won. I mean that of course she just reiterated talking points, but she did it with charm. Sure Biden had substance and character, but who was really watching to see how he did? Oh, and she's not certain global warming is caused by pollution...

Your Name : Susan
Your Hometown : Dresher
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Biden was wonderful-Pailin-no major gaffes, but did not answer the questions-very scripted. A win for Biden.

Your Name : Annie

Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : GO PALIN!

Your Name : K
Your Hometown : Philadelphia
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Biden won of course. There were just too many moments when Palin did not answer the questions. Also, she was all over the place and rambling. She was better than in her recent interviews but still not answering questions effectively. Also there were just too many, "Darns" and "Betchas"; so called folksy talk that is really just unprofessional.

Your Name : Rodney Love
Your Hometown : Bensalem
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Palin crushed Biden. Biden spent more time criticizing Bush than he did talking about what matters. This is not a campaign against Bush it is against McCain. They don't have anything against McCain Palin so they are desperate and it shows.

Your Name : Nicole Mullen
Your Hometown : Linwood, Pennsylvania
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : As I watched the VP Debate, my comment is that Gov. Sarah Palin is clueless. She danced around every quesion. I am a single mother and she did not win me over, at all! She did not address alot of these questions that were presented to her. Thank you for giving me tha chance to take part in your VP Debate. Nicole Mullen

Your Name : Kathy

Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Glad I was able to watch. I truly want change, so this Democrat will be voting for the McCain/Palin ticket in November. McCain is a Maverick and Palin is Main Street, USA. How can America lose with these two in office. We need someone with experience in the Presidential seat, but also someone willing to fight for what is right. We have both in John McCain.

Your Name : Miriam
Your Hometown : Cherry Hill, NJ
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : I don't know what debate some of these panel analyst were watching. I think she hurt her party more then she helped. You could just tell that she danced around every major question she was asked, and clearly stayed in her comfort zone. I don't know maybe she was more interested in cracking jokes and sly remarks for those soccer moms then sticking to the issues that really matter to the American people.

Your Name : Melissa
Your Hometown : Elverson, Pa
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : I think Sen. Biden was on point and Gov. Palin skirted around all of the questions. I am a middle class American mother and am not a soccer mom and nor is my husband Joe "six pack". I honestly believe if McCain-Palin are elected into office, americans will be in sotre for a minimum of 4 more years of what we have dealt with in the past 8 years. I also think that Obama - Biden understand the reality of the state of this country is in and will try to do what needs to be accomplished to bring positive change and bring back hope and security in our failing times.

Your Name : Jazz
Your Hometown : Philadelphia
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : My new name for Palin is Skipper because she knew how to skip around a lot of the important issues that didn't pertain to energy. She was not as bad as I thought she'd be but I still believe she is not qualified or experienced to run for the Vice President of the USA. Overall, I believe Biden did a pretty decent job answering the questions.

Your Name : Dan Evans
Your Hometown : Slatington, PA
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Governor Palin did what everyone thought she couldn't. She stood up to the "good old boy" and held her own. She is a people's person and will fight for the people with whatever it takes.

Your Name : riccardo jenkins

Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : I think Sen Biden had the edge, he answered the questions as asked, and didn't go off in a totally different direction

Your Name : Jonathan Scott
Your Hometown : Wyoming, DE
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : I believe that Joe Biden did extremely well in being confident and answering the questions. Sarah Palin was almost grasping at her next sentence, using old rhetoric of former politicians because McCain and Palin do not have any new ideas.

Your Name : Judy Evans
Your Hometown : Slatington, PA
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : I think governor Palin naailed it. She convinced me that less interference by government is better for the country and more concern for the energy crisis is mandatory for creation of jobs and restoration of our independence.

Your Name : Jamie Jamison

Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : The governor did very well, I know Joe , he is a good guy but it u=is time for a real change and after 30 + years in goverment and his complicity with frannie and freddie it is time for him to go. Besides every time he opens his mouth ...most of us in delaware cringe.

Your Name : Lucero

Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Palin did better than I expected. She did not sound so dumb. However, she never answered the questions. It was all sound bites and rehearsed speeches.

Your Name : Novella Keith
Your Hometown : Philadelphia
Share your thoughts on the Vice Presidential debate ... : Biden was excellent, well informed, passionate, connected well with the audience. Palin was better than I expected, but there were an awful lot of soundbites and a continuation of the low blows and lies the McCain campaign has gotten well known for.
