Delaware State Police said a child has been located following the issuance of an Amber Alert over the weekend.
Authorities said 5-year-old Zion Duprey was found at a Mount Laurel motel early Tuesday morning. He was said to be in good health.
The young boy's father, 30-year-old Angel Duprey of Philadelphia, was taken into custody.
Police said the child was apparently abducted from the 8300 block of Collet Lane by his father at about 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
According to police, Duprey drove to the 8300 block of Collet Lane in Lincoln, where his three children live with their mother and grandmother. Duprey is believed to have entered the home and grabbed his five-year-old son without notice.
Reportedly, the grandmother was home at the time and attempted to take back the young boy, but was unsuccessful.
Duprey apparently had been issued an active protection from abuse order in June of 2009 from the state of Pennsylvania, which prohibits him to have contact with his girlfriend or their children.
