Driver Dies In South Philadelphia Crash
A driver was killed in single vehicle crash in South Philadelphia Thursday morning.
The accident happened at about 4 a.m. on Columbus Blvd. at Snyder Avenue when the car struck a utility pole.
Police say the unidentified male driver had to be extricated from his car by firefighters. He was taken to Jefferson University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
