Police Investigate Train Track Homicide

Philadelphia Police are investigating a homicide in the Parkside section of Philadelphia after a body was found wrapped in a bag and wedged under the railroad tracks.

Police responded to a tip call Thursday night and went to the railroad tracks along 52nd Street and Lancaster Avenue.

The body was so badly decomposed that detectives could not determine if it was the body of a man or a woman.

An autopsy will be conducted to try to identify the body and determine the cause of death.
