Man Sought In Montco. Assault, Attempted Abduction
PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS 3) ―
Police in Montgomery County are searching for a suspect who assaulted and attempted to abduct a teenage girl.
Investigators said the incident occurred at about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the area of School Lane by the Black Horse Park in Plymouth Township.
The 16-year-old victim told police she was walking to the park when an unidentified male came up from behind and grabbed her.
Investigators said the suspect punched the victim with a closed fist in the abdomen before picking her up and carrying her over his shoulder to an open field.
The victim was able to break free from the suspect and flee. The suspect ran off in the area of Ridge Pike.
The suspect is described as a white male, in his 20s, with a short brown or black mustache, and a scar over his left eye. He was described as being 5'6" to 5'8" in height and having a thin muscular build. He was wearing a solid black hooded sweatshirt with black pants and possible black and white sneakers.
