Phillies Look For 5 Wins In 6 Games In Arizona

PHOENIX (AP) ―

Arizona still has baseball's best record, but the Diamondbacks have come back to Earth a bit after their torrid start.

They'll be trying to avoid losing three straight for the first time this season as they again take on the Phillies, who appear to be just heating up.

The Phils will try to make it five wins in six games—and two straight in Arizona—as the teams face each other in Game 2 of this four-game set. The Phils had won 10 of 14 heading into Monday's opener, and they took that one with a lopsided 11-4 victory.

Second baseman Chase Utley continued his impressive start with two of Philadelphia's 17 hits. Utley leads the majors with 13 home runs and with last night's game he upped his average to .362 -- fourth-best in baseball.
