Police And Kids Share A Golf Outing

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) ―

What better way to spend the few warm days left this summer than out on the golf course.

Some Philadelphia Police officers did just that, while introducing some young people from their community to the game of golf.

Officers of the 19th Precinct teamed up with the Billy Kasper Golf Club to host a youth golf outing and lunch at the course in Cobb's Creek named for the golf  great.

It was a great opportunity for kids to get tips on putting and hitting long drives, and the chance for officers to bond with youngsters in the community they serve.
