Police said a 30-year-old man was found shot in the head inside an Old City apartment.

A man has died after being found with two gunshot wounds to the head inside an Old City apartment Friday evening.
The discovery was made at about 9:30 p.m. inside a 3rd floor apartment on S. 3rd Street between Market and Chestnut Streets.
According to investigators, a 30-year-old male was found with two gunshot wounds to his head. He was rushed to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in extremely critical condition, where he later died.
Police said a preliminary investigation revealed that the shooting was an apparent break-in and robbery.
The victim was reportedly found by his roommate.
The exact details surrounding the incident were not immediately available. The incident remains under police investigation.
