Nutter To Name New City Commerce Director

PHILADELPHIA (AP) ―

A former adviser to the mayor of Washington, D.C., is to be Philadelphia's new commerce director and deputy mayor of planning and economic development.

Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter plans to introduce Andrew Altman on Monday afternoon at City Hall.

Altman had served as the planning director under the administration of D.C. Mayor Anthony Williams.
