Suspect Arrested In Market Street Murder

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― Philadelphia police have arrested a suspect in the deadly beating and robbery of a man on Market Street last week.

Billy Langley, 19, is in custody charged with robbery and murder.

Investigators said surveillance tape of Langley helped apprehend him. The tape shows him shopping and police said he used the credit card of Charles Moody.

Police said only hours earlier, Langley robbed and beat Moody to death with brick near 48th and Market Streets.

Authorities said Langley used Moody's credit card to buy clothing and jewelry.

Police believe Langley acted alone.
