Man Shot Outside Philadelphia School

A male was shot in the arm outside a school in the city's Kensington section.

Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting in the city's Kensington section.
Authorities said the shooting happened at about 11 a.m. after a fight broke out outside the Mariana Bracetti Charter School in the 2500 block of Kensington Avenue.
One male suffered a gunshot wound to the arm and walked into the school for help.
Authorities said the school nurse tended to the injured man until medics arrived and transported him to Temple University Hospital. His condition was not immediately available.
Police are searching for a heavy set Hispanic male wearing a jacket with a fur collar, who fled the scene on foot.
Authorities said students were not involved in the incident.
