  Abington:
Fireworks go off at 9:15 pm, located at the athletic fields of Abingdon Senior and Junior High School. Admission is free. Park at the school. Leave your llamas at home

Aston:
The township will hold its annual fireworks display at dusk on Saturday at the Sun Valley High athletic field. The rain date is July 12.

Barrington:
Independence Day parade and fireworks, 8 p.m. Parade starts on Reading Avenue and ends at Woodland School, where there will be a fireworks show. (856) 547-8585.

Bethlehem:
City of Bethlehem's annual 4th of July fireworks display. Bethlehem municipal band will perform a free concert at 7:30 at the center city plaza, followed by fireworks show at 9. Fireworks will be shot off from Sand Island and visible throughout the city.

All activity on Sand Island will be closed to the public at noon that day. Fireworks rain date: Sunday, July 5 at 9pm

Clifton Heights:
The borough will be holding their Fourth of July fireworks presentation at 9:15 p.m. Saturday at Clifton Heights Athletic Field at Springfield and Sycamore avenues. A $4 donation will be asked per person if those who do not have contribution ticket. Children age 3 and under with an adult do not need a ticket.

Collingdale:
The Collingdale 4th of July Association is proud to announce that we will be having our annual Fireworks display commencing around 9 p.m. Gates open at 7 p.m. The fireworks will be synchronized with music presented by BriMark Entertainment. Entry to our fantastic display is $1 with coupon; without a resident coupon the cost is $5 per adult. All children 12 and under are FREE but must be accompanied by an adult. Coupons are distributed as a thank you to residents who have donated toward the cost of the celebration. Raffles will be sold all day at the Info Booth. Winners will be announced before the fireworks. Come on out and join the fun!

Glenside:
Independence Day Celebration and Parade: July 4 (rain date July 5). Stepping off at 4 p.m. at VFW Post 676, Roslyn Avenue, moving east along Jenkintown Road, south on Easton Road, east on Waverly Road to Renninger Recreation Area. Activities include children's activities, sporting events, decorated bike and stroller parade beginning at 10 a.m. at the recreation area. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m., presented by the Greater Glenside Patriotic Association; best view from Abington Senior and Junior high schools along Highland Avenue and Copper Beach Elementary School along Easton Road. Lahaska:
"Celebration of Freedom" Event: 4 to 10 p.m., July 4, Peddler's Village, Route 202 at Street Road. There will be entertainment, children's activities and refreshments. Fireworks begin at 9:15 with music accompaniment by Signature DJ's. Free. Information: 215-794-4000; www.peddlersvillage.com

Landsdowne:
The Union Athletic Association of Lansdowne proudly presents an exciting roster of events for this year's Fourth of July celebration. Beginning with the patriotic sounds and sights of the parade in the morning and continuing through the dazzling display of fireworks at dusk, the theme for the day is "Amazing Patriots."

The big parade begins at 9 am. Spectators may view the parade as it heads north on Lansdowne Avenue between Stewart and Essex avenues. Antique cars, bicycles, floats, local organizations and marching bands will be a part of a festive celebration on the streets, and free flags, balloons and candy will be distributed to the crowd.

Following the parade, meet at the Penn Wood High School football field for the presentation of awards and flag salute. Kids will enjoy games, prizes, and fun, including free water ice. At noon, all star baseball and softball games between members of the Lansdowne Boys and Girls Club will be held at the Penn Wood High School and Ardmore Avenue School athletic fields.

Finally, the amazing fireworks extravaganza and grand finale will take place at dusk (approximately 9 pm), also at the Penn Wood football field. Tickets cost $5 per person at the gate. Before the sun goes down and the fireworks begin, enjoy the rockin' good time of music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, starting at 7:45 pm. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase.

Lower Moreland:
Fireworks at Lower Moreland High School on Red Lion Road begin at 9:00 pm on July 4th. Admission $10 per carload and $2 for walk-ins.

Lower Providence:
Independence Day celebration sponsored by Lower Providence Township begins at 6:30 p.m. with a free concert by Special Blendz, followed by fireworks display at dusk, held at Eagleville Park, 100 Parklane Drive, Eagleville. Information: 610-635-3543.

Lower Southampton:
"Celebrating Abe Lincoln's 200th Birthday" will be the theme for this year's Lower Southampton Township Independence Day Parade when it moves in musical motion at Second Street at Bustleton Pike on Saturday, July 4 at 1 p.m.

Middletown:
The skies will light up over Sesame Place Saturday and Sunday nights. Fireworks, accompanied by Sesame Street tunes, begin at 9 both nights.
Sesame Place is at 100 Sesame Road, adjacent to Oxford Valley Mall.
The best view is said to be from the theme park's front plaza.

Newtown:
Newtown's First Fourth Celebration kicks off at 9 a.m. Saturday with the Run Over Cancer 5K run and fun walk at Newtown Middle School. Safety displays from fire trucks and emergency vehicles as well as games, activities and face painting for the kids will take place at the school also. Bands and performers will take the stage, and the annual hot dog eating contest is set to begin about 5 p.m. At 9 p.m., guests are invited to bring blankets and folding chairs to the middle school to view a spectacular fireworks show. Norristown:
Norristown's July 4 parade begins promptly at 10 a.m. following an opening ceremony in front of the Court House on Main Street. Homes and businesses along the route are encouraged to decorate their homes; a prize will be given to the most patriotic after a review early Saturday morning. Activities will follow all day at the Fire Chiefs Memorial Bandshell area in Elmwood Park, Harding Boulevard, with a concert by the Bronx Wonderers at 6 p.m. and the annual fireworks display at dusk. Quakertown:
Community Day: 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. July 4 (rain date July 5), Memorial Park, Mill Street. Daylong festivities begin at 8 a.m. with a pancake breakfast served in pavilion. Festivities include an antique car show, children's activities, food booths, fire company water battles, live music and entertainment. Radnor:
The annual Radnor Township July 4th Fireworks will take place Saturday at the Radnor High School fields on King of Prussia Road. Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. and the fireworks will begin at dusk. The stands will be open, or you can bring a picnic basket and chairs and sit on the field. Rain date is July 5. Tickets purchased in advance at the Township Municipal Building, 301 Iven Ave., Wayne, are $10 and tickets at the gate at $15.

Southampton:
Concert and fireworks at the Klinger Middle School. The "Sands of Time" band performs at 7:30 pm. Singing of the national anthem and fireworks commence at 9:25 pm. Beginning at 6:00 pm, you can catch any of fifteen free shuttles to the event. Stops are the Southhamptonfire company house at Churchville Road and Knowles Avenue, the Southhampton, Hampton Square, Redwood and Pike Plaza shopping centers on Route 232, and the Davisville Shopping Center at Davisville and Street roads. Admission is $5 for adults and $1 for children under 12.

Tinicum:
Riverside Symphonia's "Concert under the Stars": Tinicum Park on River Road, Erwinna, 8 p.m. July 4, fireworks accompanied by live music begin after dark. Gates open at 6 for pre-concert picnics. Cost $25; children $10. Information: 215-862-3300; 609-397-7300; www.riversidesymphonia.org

Washington Township:
The township's Fourth of July Spectacular Parade and Fireworks Show will take place at the high school; starting at 6:30 p.m. Fireworks will begin immediately after the parade and will be professionally choreographed to music. This year's parade theme is "Washington Township -- Past, Present and Future."
