'Joe The Jeweler' Accused Of Selling Stolen Goods

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― A well-known figure on Jewelers' Row was arrested Thursday after being accused of selling stolen property.

CBS 3 cameras were on 8th Street as "Joe the Jeweler" was led away in handcuffs by police.

Following a major crimes investigation, "Joe" is expected to be charged with receiving stolen property.

He is known around town because of his advertisements and commercials where he is seen throwing around money and screaming about wanting to "buy your gold."

The incident remains under police investigation.
