Hard rain thrashed the Delaware Valley on Saturday evening causing heavy flooding in various counties.
Several residences have been evacuated in Montgomery County and flash floods have cut off parts of Butler Avenue in Ambler, Blair Mill Road in Horsham and parts of County Line Road.
The first floor of the Holiday Inn on Pennsylvania Avenue in Fort Washington was evacuated for an hour due to flooding concerns. Everyone has since been allowed back inside.
At about 4 p.m. The National Weather Service in Mount Holly issued a "flash flood" warning for parts of Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.
Residents in the respective counties are urged to use caution when leaving their homes and prepare for possible heavy flooding.
