Philly Fireman's Death Classified As Line Of Duty

PHILADELPHIA (AP) ― Philadelphia Fire Commissioner Lloyd Ayers says a firefighter's death in a hospital has been determined to be a death in the line of duty.

Lt. Stephen Michael Cospelich collapsed while walking his dog April 17 after fighting a stressful home fire. He was rushed to a hospital, but never regained consciousness and died May 20 at the age of 56.

Ayers announced Wednesday that the death was determined to be a line of duty death.
