Sources said the daughter of a Philadelphia police officer apparently saw a person matching Floyd's description while riding N.J. Transit Monday morning. She took a picture of the individual with her cell phone and sent it to her mother, who in turn notified authorities in New Jersey.

When the train was stopped just south of Newark Penn Station in Elizabeth, police said the suspect fled on foot. Officers recovered a wig the suspect was apparently wearing at the time, but have not yet located the suspect.

CBS 3 has learned a team of Philadelphia police officers are heading to Newark to investigate the possible sighting.

Trains along the Northeast Corridor and North Jersey Coast were delayed for up to an hour following the incident.

The Citizen's Crime Commission state the reward for information leading to Floyd's arrest has grown to over $140,000. Police warn he should be considered armed and dangerous. (read more...)
