Suspect In Officer's Death Arraigned

PHILADELPHIA (AP) ―

Eric Floyd, the third suspect in the slaying of Philadelphia police Sgt. Stephen Liczbinski, has been arraigned on murder, robbery, conspiracy and related charges.

The 33-year-old Floyd was captured late Wednesday evening in an abandoned rowhouse in southwest Philadelphia following a five-day manhunt. Police say the arrest was made after an FBI agent received a telephoned tip.

Brought to police headquarters in Liczbinski's handcuffs, Floyd had been arrested with his girlfriend, 37-year-old Tonya Stephens, who was found with him and charged with obstructing justice, hindering apprehension and conspiracy.

Another bank robbery suspect, 38-year-old Levon Warner, was arrested Sunday, and 33-year-old suspect Howard Cain was shot to death by police on Saturday.
