Drexel Students Buzzing 4 Change
PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ―
More than 130 students from Drexel University will hold a fundraiser Wednesday and shave their heads to benefit childhood cancer.
The students are cutting their hair to help Buzzing 4 Change reach their goal to raise $15,000 to be donated to the pediatric oncology center of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
The hair will be donated to Locks of Love, "a nonprofit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair loss."
The event takes place from 2 4 p.m. at Drexel's Quad.
