Chester
County authorities are investigating
the shooting deaths of a young couple in their Coatesville home as a double
homicide.
Chester County District
Attorney Joseph Carroll says 21-year-old Shontae M. Peterson and 24-year-old
Carnell Parker were both shot in the head in their dining room.
Police were called at
about 9:10 a.m. Sunday and found the victims on the dining room floor of their
duplex. Authorities say the two, who were boyfriend and girlfriend, were last
seen alive at about 2:30 a.m.
Carroll says other
people were in the home at the time of the shootings. He says autopsies will
determine the type of firearm used. Investigators saw damage to doors, windows
and screens, but they do not know whether the damage was caused by someone
trying to enter the home.
