Delaware Teen Arrested For N.J. Murder

SALEM CITY, Del. (CBS 3) ―

The Delaware State Police have arrested a Seaford, Del. man in connection with a murder in Salem City, N.J.

Thairen Brittingham, 19, was arrested Tuesday evening at his home in the 25000 block of Bethel-Concord Road in Seaford.

The murder occurred on Friday October 3, 2008 in Salem City, NJ and an investigation began immediately.

The Delaware State Police became involved in the process once it was discovered that Brittingham was in fact a resident of Delaware and the investigation presumed the suspect had become a fugitive of New Jersey.

Brittingham is being charged with murder and related charges and is being held at the Sussex Correctional Center with no bond.
