Del. County Bank Robbery Suspect Remains At Large
DREXEL HILL, Pa. (CBS 3) ―
Police in Delaware County have announced the arrest of one suspect and are searching for an accomplice responsible for the robbery of a bank in Drexel Hill.
Investigators who caught and charged Andiz Briggs, continue to search for Ishaq Ibrahim in connection with the robbery and related offenses.
Police say the two robbed the TD bank on the 2200 block of Garrett Road in Drexel Hill on May 5th.
"They put demand notes on the counter, they both had disguises on," said Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood. "They demanded all of the fifties and hundreds and threatened to kill everybody in the bank if they didn't comply."
Allegedly the two men made off with an estimated $6,000. Police consider Ibrahim to be armed and dangerous.
