The Coast Guard and local authorities are still searching for a missing man after his boat was capsized in New
Jersey's Mantua Creek Saturday evening.
The Gloucester County Police department reported a boat
had capsized with four people aboard about 7:12 p.m. Three people were rescued
by a Gloucester County dive team and escaped without injuries.
The ages of the rescued boaters are 12, 23, and 24. The
missing boater has been identified as 23-year-old, Christopher Pettit of Gibbstown, N.J.
Pettit is reportedly an experienced hunter and family and friends
hope those skills will bring Christopher to safety.
The search for Pettit continued throughout Sunday with no signs of the missing man.
The water in the area ranges from six inches to 30 feet, and
the current tends to be quite strong as well.
Pettie was reportedly not wearing a life
jacket when the boat capsized.
