Del. Teen Wanted In Death Of Toddler
MILFORD, Del. (CBS 3) ―
Police in Delaware are asking for the public's help in locating a man wanted in connection to the death of a toddler.
Investigators are searching for Carl Sewell who is wanted on murder charges in the death of a 22-month-old.
According to police, the child was in the care of Sewell shortly before the child was initially admitted in critical condition to the emergency room of Bayhealth Hospital in Milford, Delaware on June 3. Police said the child suffered a traumatic brain injury.
The victim was eventually flown to A.I. Dupont Hospital in Wilmington, but later succumbed to the injuries.
Sewell was originally arrested for Assault By Abuse on June 4, but was released on bond.
Sewell is described as a black male, thin build, 5'9", 115 lbs with brown eyes and low cut black hair.
Once apprehended, Sewell is expected to be charged with Murder by Abuse.
