Britt Reid Expected In Court In December

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (AP) ― Britt Reid is due back in a Montgomery County courtroom in December.

Attorneys are trying to resolve outstanding criminal charges against the 22-year-old son of Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid.

The charges are related to Britt Reid's DUI arrest in the parking lot of a Plymouth Township shopping complex in late August.

Reid's attorney, Ross Weiss, and deputy attorney general Marc Costanzo met with the judge on Wednesday. He told them the case needs to be resolved in order to consider paroling Reid early for admission to drug court.

When Judge Steven O'Neill sentenced Reid earlier this month to 8-23 months in jail for flashing a gun at a motorist, O'Neill said he would consider letting Reid out early for drug court.

But, Costanzo says, "someone cannot be paroled into the drug court if they have open charges against them in another case."
