Car Found Ablaze In Northeast Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― A burning car set a small brush fire in Northeast Philadelphia Monday night.

Chopper 3 discovered the burning vehicle while flying over Bath and Orthodox Streets in the city's Bridesburg section at about 8:30 p.m.

Flames from the car set a small brush fire that came close to a nearby school bus depot.

Chopper 3 helped guide a Philadelphia fire truck to the location by utilizing its landing lights and the blaze was quickly brought under control.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
