Bensalem Police Arrest Bank Robbery Suspect

BENSALEM, Pa. (CBS 3) ― The Bensalem Police department has announced the arrest of a suspect connected to the robbery of a TD Bank on Thursday, January 8.

John Chiartas, 31, was taken by police and confessed to robbing the bank because he "need the money to eat and support his drug habbit."

Chiartas was identified by an anonymous caller from bank surveillance photographs published in a local newspaper.

Members of the FBI assisted the Bensalem Police Department in their investigation.
