'Juicy' Puppy Found Safe And Sound In Bensalem

BENSALEM, Pa. (CBS 3) ― A puppy believed to be stolen in a Bensalem home invasion is now safe and sound.

Police and the owner believed thieves stole four-month-old dog "Juicy" from an apartment in Bensalem on December 14th.

Police say they arrested Kabiru Lee, of Philadelphia, in connection to a burglary at the same apartment complex. However, Lee told police he didn't know what happened to Juicy.

Juicy's owner disputed Lee's denial.

"I don't believe that because my dog, because she's too tiny, I lock her in the crate, so obviously the crate was opened and he opened it for a purpose, for a reason," Kimberly Mooney said.

Mooney was offering a $1,000 reward for the return of the dog, but now her neighbor has admitted to having the dog.

Bensalem police reported that a neighbor, who does not speak English, had Juicy the whole time.

Police suspect the dog ran out of the door as the victim was being robbed.

The thieves made off with a 40 inch flat screen TV, a laptop, an iPod, jewelry and a social security card.

Police said the thieves also stole Mooney's friend's purse and used her credit card at a Wawa in Trevose and several other convenience stores in Bucks County and Philadelphia.
