Local College Student Falls To Her Death In A.C.

ATLANTIC CITY (CBS 3) ―

Police said a local college student accidentally fell four stories to her death from an Atlantic City parking garage.

Gina Durham, a senior at Stockton College, was out for the night with her friends at The Pier at Ceasars. Upon returning to their car in the parking garage at the end of their night Durham was separated from her friends.

The victim's friends noticed she was not at the car when they arrived and went looking for her, leading them to the gruesome discovery.

Durham was unresponsive when security personnel arrived and was transported to Atlantic Care Regional Medical Center for treatment. She was pronounced dead at 2:32 a.m.

Stockon College released a statement regarding the tragic loss of the senior from Williamstown. "Gina was a member of the senior class and a student leader in various campus organizations. Our sincerest condolences and heartfelt sympathy are extended to her family and friends."

There was no appearance of foul play and no indication that Durham wanted to hurt herself leading police to believe that she may have lost her balance and fell.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact the Atlantic City Police Department at 609-347-5766.
